Hello and howdy

This makes the... third blog I have under my name I believe. Heh...

 Anyway, this is me, Danielle. Once again. 

 I don't know if I will make this public to my family just yet. I think I may do a bit of Christian Witchery on here and I'm still stuck "in the broom closet" as it were.

A little bit about me:

 I'm in my early forties (good Lord).
I have a Master's Degree in Educational Media and Educational Technology. My major was School Library Media. In other words, I'm a school librarian.
I live in Tennessee.
I was born in Indiana. 
I have two cats.
I am unemployed, but I hope that will change soon.
I am Asexual.
I am female (by birth and by gender identity).
I love to read.
I love to knit.
I like to take photographs.

 At present, I live with my mother, but I hope that will change sometime in the near future. Not that my mother isn't a pleasant person to live with, but I crave a bit of independence. I've never really had it, except for a brief time as an undergrad in college.

Aggressions and Annoyances

If you are like me, then you find yourself trying to struggle with the everyday annoyances that cross your path.  It could be anything, really. From co-workers who rub you the wrong way to not being able to find anything to watch on the TV.  I've been trying to find ways to deal with the everyday irritations that I come across. One thing I find that helps is journaling. I don't mean something like this (although if that helps, then go for it). Resolve

It's a new year.  2018.  I am not going to make any 'resolutions' since they are too hard to break. I decided to have goals instead.  My main goal is to get a job as a school librarian. My career seems to have stalled for some reason and I'd like to try and get it to jumpstart. I keep questioning myself as to why nothing seems to be happening, but I can never get a definitive answer. I want to also try to have more creative outputs. I do knitting at present and I would like to advance into making more complex things, like cabling, fair isle, brioche, and other stitch patterns in addition to making socks and perhaps a wrap or two (or more). I have quite a bit of time on my hands so I can practice, but I'm still missing a number of things, like proper needle sizes as well as different types of yarn appropriate for each project.
